80 psi oil pressure regulator

80 psi oil pressure regulator

Is there somewhere else to buy a 80 psi oil pressure regulator other then racing beat who sells them for 90 bucks?

You don't need any regulators period...just bang on your original one with a hammer to make it shorter and shim the spring on the front cover (i put a small washer with a corner seal in there). That made my pressure go through the roof, never went less than 60psi and peaked out at 95psi.

It increases the wear on the oil pump chain a bit. Anyone know if it wears the oil pump itself any faster?

I dont know if that is the best route lol. Anyone do this? Plus how will you know when it will bypass. Racing beats is 80 psi for the street. and yours bypasses at 95 psi?
