3 rotor 12a questions
3 rotor 12a questions
So i just noticed that billet rotary sells a 12a 3 rotor eshaft with counterweighgs for 5000$. Strangely enough that is roughly the cost of a turbo, auto counterweight, and other turbo related parts. What mods are required. water pump, studs, oil pump, intake manifold etc? I realize it would end up more expensive (maybe) but im willing to play ball, I just need to know what it takes.
Edit: these cranks take roller center bearings, how will that effect longevity on the street.

Not 100% sure what your question is around what mods are required...
But from someone that has a 26b, here are some other cost that i would consider if you are thinking about putting in a custom 3 rotor in a vehicle

- who would build the engine and tune the car
- custom oil pan, lines and cooler
- custom engine mount
- custom headers
- custom intake
- ECU, wiring harness, sensors
- radiator, fan
- battery relocation
- Upgraded transmission, which mean custom mounts and driveshaft
- Custom exhaust
- Now that you have more power, you will want to have good wheels, tires and brakes if you don't already
