13b-tt swap for a TII

I'm pretty much a noob at this so I wanted a more powerful and smoother enige for my T2 and I was looking into a newer spec 13b-tt full swap. IS it possible to do a clean swap w/out alot of complications and if so what would I need besides the basic engine ,ecu, wire harness, intercooler and piping, and transmission

Are you talking 13B-REW?

You'd might as well drop a 20B in there. It'd be cheaper than trying to fit a 13B-REW in.

Simple answer to your question is: no. It will be complicated, and a money pit.

For an easier install, go for the 13b-re... it's a twin turbo out of a mazda cosmo and they make engine mount adapters for the install.

On the other hand the 13b-rew (3rd gen) is possible. Here's one we did, so the swap is possible... the engine mounts are in different places, so you will need to make mount adapters. Also, the computer will need to be wired in and the front oil cooler line needs an adapter. Here are some older pics of it before the fuel system, i/c piping, etc...

for the cost of all that, just keep an s4/s5 fc engine and upgrade the turbo/fuel/haltech, etc... more power, more reliability, less money.

sweet job man but yeh that seems pricey. but what kind of head lights are those I've seen them before and I want some but don't know where to look or what they are .

also can anyone tell me if I should just put in a j-spec engine from a S5 front clip with about 50-70k or should I get a brand new crate engine and have a RX-7 shop do the install really looking for a newer engine

13B-RE all the way... not too expensive for alot of STOCK power and even more room to grow...
