does anybody know if theres a video where you can learn step by step rotary engine tunning. everything from basic buildup to race only. please let me know if theres something like that available. i like the rotor, but i dont know much about it. and dont know anybody who knows. thank you.

 

atkins has the only videos i've heard of, it's more just a tear down and rebuild, but it gives you a good overview of the engine

 

And as a matter of fact they just released a new version of the video! Jason from Atkins tells me it is based on the 86-88 13B it covers the rebiuld process only, does not cover the inspection of used components. It is about 1 hour in length.

The other video out there is by Bruce Turentine, and I believe it is basically the same as the Atkins video but I am not 100% sure on this as I have not seen it.

 

yea i just ordered the one from atkins and i also ordered another one from a website call rotaryaviation.com, they sell a 13b overhaul video and a video on both second and thrid generations on how to pull your motor out, just ordered them last week and ill let you guys know how good they are when i get them, heres that link to rotary avaition

I have the video from rotary aviation and it is really helpful. Lots of good information on how to rebuild and assemble a 13b engine. Never seen the Atkins video but this one is really good.
