z28 camaro vs my FD

I was driving in pasadena the other night and a silver 2000ish camaro z28 w/ zo6 wheels comes next to me and does the 3 honk go. His car was really loud, maybe cams, I dont know. We raced to 160 and I put about 4-5 cars on him easy. I was shocked at how I pulled considering im still on my original motor/twins @13psi. We also did a 40mph 2nd gear run and I even pulled away in 2nd gear.

If im not mistaken those z28 have ls1's? I was expected a tighter race.

Im at about ~325whp mods in my sig

I raced a similar Camaro a little while ago too, hella loud, I know it wasn't stock. I noticed that he started pulling away pretty fast, but at higher speeds, I started catching up, but I didnt wanna go too fast so he won

if you read the thread that Jessie linked you will see that the passenger weighed 360 lbs and that driver weighs 240 lbs... Thats a lot of extra weight on an already heavy car!

LOL...seriously though...at 4000+ lbs, with 390 at the wheel it could do a 13 sec 1/4 mile. probably no get up and go at speed though.

Must be a smaller cam or something. Those motors (even in the heavy *** camaro) are bolt on 400+hp/tq motors. Even then the FD is making great numbers and sounds like a blast, lol. seems like the right car won tho
