Volkswagon GTI Kill

So Im driving back to starbucks to hop onto my favoirte web page, when on the twisty road of highway 41 west this guy in a silver GTI shows up on my ***, he's being respectable, backing off a bit on slow corners and then coming up again just to let me know he's there. We're stuck behind traffic(single lane oncoming traffic) so we were just piddling around until everyone got out of the way, he finally signalled for an exit and flashed me so i figured why not. I was in front and Down shifted to 2nd did a beautiful powerslide around the corner and off we went, he caught up to me minus about 3 car lengths on the straight away before the twisties started again, and then i demolished him, he kept on getting further and further away, and then when i got to the stop sign at the end of the road took him about 7 seconds to catch up. At that point we went our separate ways. It was a fun little encounter, first time I've pushed the 7 against another car head to head, so to speak. I am a believer that the 7 is one of the best handling cars once you get a feel for how they react.

Car is an 83 Gsl 12a stock everything, 75k on the new engine.

Im guessing he bought a car that was more than he could drive, but you never know, these 7s are great cars.
