Talking Raced my wife :)

We are lined up at the stoplight. I'm on the left, she revs at me. I rev back. It's on ....... I think???

The light changes green, and I get the jump on her. About 1/3 car length. 20mph !! she is still at my passenger door. 30 mph she is still there!! 50 mph still the same. Neither of us can gain any ground. At 60, we both had to let off to get in line for the freeway on ramp. Whew, what a race I kicked her butt

Oh yeah, I was driving my 98 Tacoma (V-6). She was driving her 89 chevy 3500 2wd pickup (454). I think she would have passed me in a longer race.

This was a grudge race from the time that she beat me last year. Last time I had the 92 Accord Wagon (sold), and she had the 02 CRV. She kicked my ***

Wow, what excitment!!

I raced my wife's old Taurass with my old 5.0. Whooped her butt.

Now she "ownes" my 01 Mustang GT and I drive that same Taurass.

I'm looking for a 89 and up TII so I can kick her butt again.

Great...I'm depressed now...

Cool run, but the Taurus I'm talking about is a base model and it's brown.

I'll have to change the oil in about another 10,000 miles.

Those V8 Cherokees can surprise you, even non-hemi, my GF has one. They pull pretty well, even rolling on the highway. I figured the gearing would be an issue at high speeds but they pull pretty well up to about 100mph.
