Actually I don't know who's mouth was bigger the Supra guy's or the Z guy's.

 

Bolt-on is very subjective. However, many vette owners consider cam and heads a bolt on, maybe not simple.

When you go inside the motor, than you do the crank, rods, and pistons. That would not be a bolt on.

Just like Iam doing a bolt-on with my TT kit. Is it simple, probably not : )

 

Seems to me Z06 kos, probably would not even get close to 430rwhp. There are vette owners with full exhaust and intake, that is pushing around 390rwhp tuned. Cam is what really pushes the vette and bring out their character.

There are guys with good set of heads and extreme cam that can push over 450rwhp with big lope.

 

So the Z06 that the 350z ran actual modifications are:

Callaway Cold air intake
Ported LS2 throttle body
Fast 90MM intake manifold
Dyannatech Long tube headers
Borla X pipe
Corsa Pacers Exhaust system
Catalytic Convertors removed
Longer pushrods (higher lift and duration..."poor mans cam")
HP Tuners Street Density tuning by tuner who helped engineer the C5 vette
Iridium Cold plugs
Nology hot wires

The longer pushrods don’t count as bolton’s

I really dont think the Z06 is making more then 430whp.

 

i betcha he is around 400rwhp.

 

the 350Z owner thinks that the Z06 was pushing 450-475whp and running 10s. he is wrong.

I want to know what was up with all the rolling starts...why no dig starts? Obviously the Z is a drop top and has problems in the upper MPH because of that.

And I ran my S/C RX-7 against a 350z when it was running bad, lost by about four car lengths, then we ran again and I beat it by a car length...tunning is everything.

 

We were supposed to run from dig + roll but "SOMEONE" (on this thread) informed 350z that I was heavily modded and almost ran 11's at the track.....now nobody wants to run me from dig, ...wdf

Who really cares. The speed of your car doesn't reflect how great of a person you may or may not be. There is always someone faster. There is always someone that can outhandle you. Just grow up and stop being a baby. If they won fair and square, post up the video. If they popped your tires and ran like little girls, post that too. That would be funny. If you don't want to lose, then don't race. You never know what is going to be faster, whether it be a Civic, an FD, a Vette, or whatever it may be. There is always something that can shut you down. When are you little kids going to grow up and realize that?
