I dont even own a 7 and the rotary guys got my back on this one.
Im a member of this forum for a reason, a family member owns a 3rd gen. I share my videos and post on the forum because I like the rotary guys.
I dont even need to flame you because they know your a babbling idiot.
thanks guys.

And P.S.
DUMBASS,
A 3000gt IS NOT A DSM
DSM refferes to the group of similar cars that were produced in a specific factory.
these cars are Eclipses/Talons and other counterparts.

Back on topic--------------
No the evo driver was actually a pretty damn good driver. But you forget my car has long gears. I shifted 3 times he was at the top of his 4th. Thats why 1g vr4s outlaunch stis/evos, they hold the initial launch for allmost twice as long.

Why do you call it the Henessy?
Well Henessey is my nickname. And GTO MR is my project.

Woah... out launch an evo/sti? i owned a stealth TT before my evo.... no way in hell could that car out launch my evo.. no way. i ran 1.7 60 fts. stock. the stealth was lucky to reach 1.8s. the shorter gears and taller final drive raito help you accelerate faster. only when your make alot more power does longer gears benefit... but certainly not at 300-400hp levels. longer gears will help up top, on your mph, not your luanches... it will hurt that. also, the vr4 is 700lbs heavier. i love the vr4, dont get me wrong, but that thing just plain will not out launch an evo given same driver. take it from me, ive owned both cars.

Ive seend 2nd gens run 1.78ish 60 foots. But 60ft is only that... 60 ft. When he shifted i still had 15-20 more mph left wich is why i put the space between us. But taller gears do NOT help a bpu or less than 400awhp vr4. Power drops at 6000rpms anyhow and having awd drivetran loss is a shot in the foot. But for drag racing the 5 speed vr4s aka first gens are best for drag racing. Matt Monnett ran a 9.7 @151 with his vr4 with no nitrious and a 5 speed on stock block!
But for the sake of argument seeing as how i drove a few sti's never an evo, i should have said "thats why 1g vr4s GENERALLY outlaunch stis/evos." my earlier comment might have souned too biased.

fair enough... ahh Matt finally hit singles??? i wasnt sure if it was ever going to happen after that "1000hp" vr4 flop barely went 10s years ago.

Matts car at the time had upwards of 750-790 AWHP. Crank hp thats about 1000bhp. Nelson has twin t4/s and he made 990awhp through an auto trans and **** tune! But yea im not trying to go too rediculous, im thinking 2 16gs, pushing about 600awhp on 110 octane. March/April or so.
whats done to the evo?

do you mean "did i run a 350z?"
and nope not from a dig... on video that is. I messed around with a few G's

as for pounds, its not that bad, weight ranges from 3500-3790, ive yet to have mine weigh in. The 6cyl TT AWD platform (911 turbo, Skyline GTR,) has prooven itself many a time. vr4s/turbo stealths are no diffrent than those cars from that aspect. But id be an idiot not to agree its overweight, a nice 3300lbs would be great. or should I say 2800 .
