Well this will be quite funny for you martain. On friday i was challeneged by a turbo gsr swap? civic for some money. He would not pop the hood but he had the biggest ricer intercooler ever, why i say ricer because KNEW that the turbo backing it up did not need the worlds biggest intercoooler. Im sure he was pressure dropping and loosing power. Anyhow ill post the video later tonight

Sadly enough I am very serious. I have not seen an FD do well at an autox in person. I have seen two at different events, but one was scared to hit the gas(newb or maybe had insane power) and the other I didn't get to see run but heard from others that he was a newb and didn't do well. I see FC's running there all the time though and they do well enough considering their mods.

I'm not doubting the FD's abilities, but there are more at the 1/4 track.

If you knew more about FD's then you would know that they were built for circuit racing in mind.

wow man..I feel kinda bad that you have no clue what you're talking about...

http://highrevcustoms.com/phpbb2/vie...874bca28b43987 Here on my car club, you'll see a guy with a V8 FD won his local autox competition, beating out a C6 Z06 to do it.

You'll also notice that the top 3 cars were FDs.

Notice how I said "IN PERSON" and "I'M NOT DOUBTING THE FD'S ABILITIES".
If that's how well FD's are doing in your area that's great, but that doesn't change the fact that I haven't seen any do good.

EDIT: I just read the link you gave me and he says he's only showing the RX7 times and the ZO6, so where do you get that RX7's took the top 3 places? I'm seeing that 3 RX7's did better than a new ZO6.

This is the only reason I brought up autox, so it doesn't matter what you say the FD was built for.

initially you'd said "you have yet to see an FD get around an autox course decently for what it is" that link had a vid so you could "see" as you claimed you hadn't.

No reason to be all touchy, I'm just putting the info out there so you can stop thinking that the FD is strictly a 1/4 mile car.

Oh, well thanks. I know what an FD is capable of, and a 1/4 mile car is the last thing I would consider it. I was just saying that I haven't seen too many being used for what it was made for. I've seen quite a few all out drag FD's though.
