Hehe, trying to cheat by not taking it to redline???lol

common, you guys are funny...a stock fd at the 1/4 is not that fast, most of us who regard ourselves as profesional race car drivers cant get out of the 14s so how different is that from a mid 14 second RSX??? thats your car difference right there.

the t2 is the issue here, boost leak? so it wasnt running right...i bet that t2 is faster than the almighty fd in this case! lol

we just fixed the T2 and uput the racing beat back on and in third gear boost peaked at 11. it was pretty quick. now the only problem is the slave cylinder for the clutch is about dead so we'll try to fix that before the rsx race on wednesday but its pretty expensive . anybody have any cheap ideas?

Changing out a clutch master and slave cylinder is only like $100 and it takes like a maximum of like 2 hours. Sounds pretty cheap and quick.

the new k20's react to bolt-on's very well like others have been saying. aem has some dynos on their site. they had i/h/e and ecu and made about 50 whp. and that's from street legal bolt-ons. a stock rsx should run high 14's with a very good driver.

the type S motor(and NEW Si motor) do respond well to mods. stock or even with just an intake or exhaust they are low-mid 15 sec cars.

Intake and HONDATA reflash...so like $600 worth of mods, they are low 14's at 99-100mph. No bs , its been done a million times and is common knowledge to anyone who knows honda's.

if he had those mods plus spray (say a 50 shot) , its easily a low -mid 13 sec ride.

but thing is we have NO CLUE what the mods were. If the story happend... and the 7 lost. big deal.

if the story never took place then this is all a waste of time(other then you learning some honda stuff )

check this **** out. we took the fc up to orange park saturday night where everyone meets up to ride around and on the way there we pulled up to a 3rd gen eclipse with a cannon. big deal. we took off and he stayed with us through second and then boom he was gone. walked us like that damn rsx. we meet up with him later cause im thinkin turbo'd to hell cause when we were just sittin there it i thought i could hear waste gate. anyway we meet a hooters with everybody and hes like no dude just intake and exhaust and im like bullshit. anyway the owner of the fc after about an hour of looking find that his hazard light buttin wasnt flush with the dash. he pulled on it while the eclipse owner was away and sure enough it extended out about an inch and behind it was a little red button. ************. but we still couldnt find any wires in the engine bay or anything like that and i couldnt find the bottle. definate props for the hiding but damn. thats 2 times this month. the rsx guy was there too and i just said "you should know about this stuff, where is he hiding it?" he just kinda blew it off. and we looked at his car later and found 2 5lb bottles underneath his back seat.... sneaky bastards. and the wednesday night runs have been postponed to this upcomming saturday night

What I don't get is who cares what the other guy had? Why not just improve your present setup?

If you try hard enough, you can hide nitrous, and any evidence thereof, from pretty well anybody. It just depends on how far you are willing to go.

I guess the idea is to appear lame and then reign supreme instead.

I slowly made my way up to where he was driving, while remaining in 4th gear. I got next to his door and "made my presence known". After about 2 seconds, he down-shifted into 3rd and took off. I remained in 4th gear at about 70mph (turbo slowly spooling) and although he pulled away, as I reached 85+, I began pulling on him, while running 6.5psi! As we 'kept at it', he tried to get over into my lane, because there was a car coming up in his lane and I had caught up, to the point where he had to slam on his brakes to avoid rear-ending the car in front of him!

That being said, I would've smoked him had I down-shifted into 3rd gear as well... I had 800 or so miles on an 85psi compression, stock turbo, 6.5psi boost motor...

haha, RSX's are slow...

that was a fun night
