well i was at my friends house and we were just chillin when we saw this civic drive by a couple of times. tehn the next time he came around my friend stoped him and told him i wanted to race him. so then the civic owner was like nah. so then my friend told him that i was bone stock then the civic guy was like "i have a SOHC and he's DOHC." then me and my friend started laughing and then the civic guy drove off with his loud *** exhuast. and that whole time he was staring at the rx7 emblem.

The fact that uh, the civic owner thought the RX7 had a cam. And valves. And not just one set, two sets. I dunno bout you tubbs, but I've never seen a rotary with DOHC.

He might have thought it was an old MX6, but they didnt have the same tail lights as an S4...

lol kinda off topic but my buddy with his TII tried to race a civic we thought was "lightly modded" the other night turned out it had a fully built turbo engine (cams, valves , polished , ignition , tranny) and on top of it , IT WAS A RUSTBUCKET with rims exhaust and decals we thought were fake (obviously not) , we got owned by it , 1st loss to a civic i wanted to hang myself

They always do that!!!HAHAHAHA I have always noticed that ricers always drive around with this look on their face like they are pissed... its like they have a chip on their shoulder..

 

It isn't just civic owners though.

I have seen some FCs and FDs with Type R stickers on them, and one had a Type R in the back with a SE-R emblem...... the kid (probably 19-20) said his car was a DOHC vtec. He said he upgraded his cams and valve springs so he could rev to 11k.....

I know a couple people that have some nice civics. Civic VX with a Type R motor. Very fast.

Another is a Civic VX with a 1.8 turbo motor in it. Last dyno was 350 HP.

But, there are a ton of dumb car owners. They want to be fast and furious..... LoL...

Anywho, watch out for your car. Last time some kid drove by my car too many times, I stopped him and told him I have a gun and if he gets near my car i will shoot him..... Haven't seen him around...

Haha, this is funny because a stock TII would get "killed" by a stock srt-4. Yes neons are silly looking and "girly", but is it really ******* fast for a car priced like that ?...YEP !

Exactly, glad someone said that. What other people find lame, some love....And while MOST Civics are really stupid/slow/ricey...some are plenty quick, and can show a n/a FC where to go....But we all know "THE 7 CAN'T LOSE !!"

I owed a sht load of cars and I had my share of civics... "some" of them are fast!!.. if you read the kill section carefully you'll see this guy who got smoked by one....... so you hate cocky drivers.. who think their civics are the SHT.. lol

 

IMO, anything slower than 12.0 1/4 isnt very fast/ worth drag racing.

 

Then about 95% of the people on this forum that drag race, shouldn't.....?
