This is a street/track racing vid my friend and I made. My friend owns that dominating FD. It only had bolt-ons at that time, Intake dp,md,pulley, clutch and flywheel. This is back then when I had a civic, I owned that red civic hb.

That FD dominated the bayarea street racers. Only car he losted to was a FULLY dragged out with gaint slicks nova. the nova over powered him in 4th gear.

 

some good footage, but someone needs to learn how to keep that camera steady.

i aint goin to stop u. I'm a little kid compare to most rx7 owners. I got my FD when i was 20. I cant afford those tri-pod stands.

Just out of curiosity where do you live that a bolt on 7 is the fastest thing around? Not flaming but just wondering if he turned down races with some strong cars or you live in smaller area.

dont know about u but 12's on street tires are pretty fast. He street ported his car later and ran 11.8 on street tires

 

That was why I asked where you live. 12's in Indy and alot of cities don't mean ****.

I live in teh bay area.. I aint tryin to clown u but do u know what ur talkin about? 12's is Really fast for a street car. I dont live in indy but I'm pretty sure not everyone has a 12 sec street car. What I mean by street car is, u can still DD it.

OMG, do you realize how many "bay areas" there are in the world? No I have know idea what I'm talking about, it's not I like I own a 600hp car or anything. Geesh.

 

i'm pretty sure u cant hook up ur 600 hp on street tires. If you didnt know the bay area is San jose Sf,oakland and places around there. If you yahooed it thats waht comes up. I pretty sure thats teh Offical name too. So everyone in indy has 600 hp cars at the runs. no hondas?

 

I don't know when that FD was "dominating" but these days in the SF bay area there's a few 9 second cars that prowl around every now and then. Fully streetable too, one even has a big sound system.

 

This i was in 04 as i can recall but The faster street racing crew out there called him out. I'm pretty sure if your from the bay you heard of SVP and some other people. 9 sec cars wow thats fast. If they dragged out tehre car, its 8's or a low 9

 

there is this crew from the 831, they have amazing cars, fast as hell. all honda/acura's.

11-12 second all motor cars, only one FI.

they currently hold the title for NORCAL's fastest all motor with an 11.5 pass. pretty impressive.

 

Yeah, I'm by no means knocking your friend's car, 12 seconds is a fast car any way you cut it. But there's always someone with more money out there with more spare time or more people to work on their car that it's kinda foolish to say that anyone is the fastest in an area. I mean just off the top of my head there's Darius, who bought Gary Javo's 1200hp TT Viper, there's the Protomotive 911 TT, and that LS2 FD that regularly runs low 10's@143 when they come down to Sacramento for Test and Tune days.

 

Oh really, have you seen any of my runs? I cut 2.0 60ft times on street tires. I never said that "everyone" in Indy has a 12 sec street car. I'm saying that to dominate in most cities 12's ain't **** in a street car.
