I've seen bikes at the strip. A few buddies actually own 1300cc Hayabusa's and a turbo R1.

One thing I will say about the Supra though, it was built for Drag and even at low boost settings, it has taken out 11 second cars on the street.. and yes, they hook.. gotta love those Built auto/stalled, full suspension, M&H Racemaster'd Supra's.

He beat my friends GTO which ran a 11.6 at 120mph with a 1.8 - 60' and got him out of the hole by 1.5-2 cars and pulled 3 more up top on lower boost.

I'm also sure the comment "he dyno'd 4XX hp with low boost, now he's running higher boost" also flew right above you... 8-10PSI in mostly any boosted car (specially one with a T71, AEM EMS) will make a dramatic difference..
11 second cars. So what? Any competent rider on a modern 600cc bike can run 10's consistently, mid to low tens mind you. You said he ran a 1.8x 60', we run low 1.7's. He runs mid 11's, we run mid to low 10's. He's gonna need a crap ton more horsepower just to brake into the 10's, much less make a low 10 second pass.

Are you even paying attention to what you are reading????

He beat my friends GTO which ran a 11.6 at 120mph with a 1.8 - 60' and got him out of the hole by 1.5-2 cars and pulled 3 more up top on lower boost.
This implies that the SUPRA got the GTO (the one that ran the 1.8 - 60') out of the hole by about 2 cars on low boost, no usage of the 2-Step and stalled to ONLY 2800rpm out of the "available" 3600.

You and I don't know what he runs because he has never been to the track. I am only stating that he has broken off 11 sec cars on the streets on low boost. I honestly don't think you are "qualified" enough to be called a professional rider capable of putting their bikes in the 10's, so "we" in that sentence should not be there..

And also, not everyone on the streets is a professional rider that has enough ***** to get that front wheel off the ground on the launch and/or through gears, so stop assuming ALL R6 bikes/riders are capable of 10's, specially on an unprepped surface - no prep, VHT, etc.

Again, I'll post back with a video and a new thread, sorry for the thread jack.

I don't think you're reading what I'm writing either, "competent rider" doesn't equate to "pro rider". Anybody who's been riding for more than a year can do what I'm talking about. To break into the 9's, you'll definitely have to be a pro, but I was saying that it could be done on a STOCK motor.

I'm not saying it's NOT possible, I'm just pointing out the fact that it will never happen in an unprepped surface and that's where this is taking place, on the streets.

iceman nice to see your car is up and running. hows that bridge port running?

I ran a Yamaha YZF R6 and won by a car (started 2 cars back) till the end of 160mph (with 430hp @ 12lbs)

then i ran a Honda CBR 750 and lost by 2 cars up to 170mph (with 450hp)

and i spanked the same CBR750 by car & a half with 527hp

so with your hp you should be going after a modded 600 bike. Otherwise from a 40 or higher roll youll murder him!

Finally we had a nice night and my friend decided to run me. We started at a 60 punch. I had a camera and my friend was filming and the camera shut off!!!! I brake boosted the car, he did the 3 honks. He didnt even get a jump on me at all. As soon as we took off i started pulling away. I tried power shifting into 4th and slipped the clutch a little. The clutch let go and it redlined, so i had to let out and get back into it for the clutch to re-grip. Even with that i pulled almost 5 cars on him by 150. My friend rode with me kept sayin,"no way man, thats ******* crazy." The mods on the bike are intake and exhaust. I am going to race him again to get a video for you guys. I was mad that the camera shut off

The bike has more of an advantage from a stop.

Btw, I agree with you about the street and the strip being totally different.

Good run iceman, I'm not surprised at all

I dont know where we could race from a stop, unless we wait till 2am where there is no one on the highway and stop there. I dont think the bike has that much of an advantage. Yes it will get a jump on me from a stop, but not much. In first gear on my r6 i couldnt crak the throttle all the way or i would instantly wheelie. I will see if he wants to race from a stop as well and get a camcorder this time.

because i have a very good tunner.

Iceman it wont be until july so you have enough time to practice LOL J?K

one thing i notice about those bikes is that they get up to there top speed very quick. but the fact is that they stop at a certain speed and were still accelerating right past them (reason why they stop so soon)

BTW the only one i know who can keep up with a 1000cc bike is either v8kila or this guy on here i frogot has a red r1 with a 3 rotor pushing 640 @ 13lbs. Hes a moderator on here
