Not sure on spec of the GTR but think it's stock? I'm running a T51 SPL on mild street port at 1.2 bar with WI for saftey. Not sure on my power figures though.
From a rolling start in first around 15mph. By end of first it was neck and neck, at the end of second his bumper is near the end of my passenger wing. I shift into third I'm pulling on him. By the end of third he's fallen back and now is level with my back wheel. I go into fourth and he's now behind my bumper. I let off mid fourth and he's half a car behind me.... I reckon by the end of fourth I would have been a car infront and into fifth probably more

That is pretty cool considering he paid like 80 grand for his car. Not a big fan of the new R35 myself, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mob3zLf5voQ says it all.
GT-R's do other stuff well, besides going fast in a straight line, like putting power down to the ground well at the exit of corners, or fitting 6'0"+ guys in the driver's seat without too much cramping.

Yeah it's a good turbo, it actually feels quite reponsive even before full boost... my friend with the Supra said it feels more responsive than the Supra does before it gets into full boost...
I'm running a small street port and get 1 bar at 4800rpm and 1.2 at 5000rpm which is when it goes crazy lol.... it feels more laggy than my T60-1 did but I just changed my drving style and it's bearable. Going for a bridge next year (not decided on which one yet) and should hopefully see full boost in the mid 4000rpms

I'm 6'0" - 6'1" and I fit into my FC alright, but barely; I still hit my head on the roof a couple of times. There's no way in hell I can heel-toe in an FD without an aftermarket steering wheel, and a helmet might even be out of the question for me!
So yeah, I'd rather have a GT-R, for fitment reasons alone.

I would have figured more of a gap between you with almost 500 to the wheels. Maybe from a dig he would keep up for a bit but not much more. Sweet kill though must have been uber fun I kno I would have wet myself lol
With modern day intelligent AWD system this is no longer the case. Active gear boxes are now more efficient on redirecting and only apply power to all 4 corners only when it is necessary.
My friend told me the drivetrain in the new gtr has the same transmission loss as a rear wheel drive car because they are a lot more efficient... Shows how much tech has gone into the gtr

I'm 6'2 with size 13 feet and I can heel-toe in my stock-interiored FD with no problems. There's actually a lot of legroom in a 3rd gen.
