Rx-8 > infinity g35 coupe

I know people are already getting ready to write a bs post, but before I go any further this was an autocrossing event put on by the local nissan car club.

I have a friend whos a member of the club and he invited me along to come try out the track they put together. It was my first time autocrossing and it was great because there was only a dozen or so cars out the whole day. There were a few 180's and 240's with modded sr20, a g35 intake, exaust, acura integra and an audi s4. Anyways it was my first time out and I wasn't expecting to do all that great in times. But after my first lap I was sitting at 48.7sec while everyone else was doing 45's. The integra did a 44.6 and left early. I didn't think I was going to do so well having the car with the lowest hp and going the slowest down the long straight in the course. So as the day went on I started posted faster times and getting really comfortable with the car. And near the end I managed a 43.3second run. The driver of the g35 said "we're not leaving till I beat your time". So almost an hour went by as he chewed up his tires and the best the g35 could do was 43.9 around the track, and he finished off by saying, "good job, what mods do you have done to that thing", and I replied "it's stock".

I believe that. Rx8s do great on short, tight courses. Good job representing at the AutoX!

Same here, and its enough to make me an owner. Handling is perfection.
