No surprise right? Well just hold on. My car currently only has dp and catback, so it's pretty mild. This guy with the Cavalier just dropped $6000 on a build up of his ecotec. Hahn Racecraft kit with all the bolt-ons. But get this, he has a new Eclipse GT!!! I don't understand why he didn't spend the money on the eclipse??? But I digress, so we line up on a local hwy at about a 20 mph roll, when both of us realize, neither of our horns work! So the first run was pretty bad as we couldn't get started at the same time. We pull around at a gas station to hit the light going the other way so we can actually get a good run. The light turns green and I launched at around 3.5k and get a pretty fair jump off the line, about a car or so. I just pulled the entire way until we shut down for traffic, I don't even know how far out I was. We do it again from the next light and I spin like crazy since it was on an incline. He gets the jump this time and is out a car on me instead. I pulled on him pretty hard and end up 3/4 of a car or so by about the top of 3rd IIRC. All in all, a pretty good race, I had fun at least. I can't wait to get my PFC installed, along with possibly a new set of intakes and a new SMIC. I also need to fab up a camera mount so I can start getting these on tape. Anyway, more to come later.

 

yea its always cool to have fun racing even if the car isnt nearly as fast as yours. i went out to race a friend of mine with a dohc swapped civic hatch and i knew i was going to destroy him but i knew it would be fun, but in the middle of the first race i blew a hole in the stock S intercooler pipe so i was only running about 2lbs and it was a little closer but i still had him by a couple cars, just good fun though.

 

Haha, yeah, some of the ones where you just play with them are fun. I really did expect more though, considering it had an aftermarket turbo setup an all that.
