RSX Type S vs TII

So we were out in the T2 going to walmart. We're on a fairly open long, four lane road and this guy pulls up to us in an Acura. He starts down shifting and making it known he wants to go. Well the 7 was nice and warm, it was probably 40 degrees outside and so we decided we'd go.

He got a head start because we gave it to him. We pulled on him and kept going til we had a 4-5 car length lead and let off (We were doing like 110 in a 55). Guy followed us to the next light but we were turning.

It was sweet.

1987 T2, 79k miles, ghetto TIDwith cone filter, rotary performance exhaust, FCD, running around 9 pounds of boost.

Yeah. But it'd have to be in sound mechanical condition (good compression/turbo etc.)

i don't know man...
that's an iffy one.
for sure, i know it would be a good match...but i'd like to see something like that to know for sure.

reason being...i remember what a bone stock s4 FC drives like.
lag till nearly 4000rpm
max boost of 5~6psi
the cars weigh around the same 2800lb and the fwd has less drivetrain loss...with a 6th gear that aids the honda engine to stay in it's narrow powerband easily.

all i can say is..
the car bone stock and the car on bpu(the car i'm talking about is the FC of course)..
..very different cars indeed.
like night and day

hey man I LOVE MY Type-S it may be FWD...EVERY1 needs a good reliable car that handles great in rain and snow...The RSX is just a fun car and the K-series is the new B-series so it only makes since that RSX's and the new civic's would be the replacement for the old civic But I will always return to my rotaries
