tonight on the way home from work in my 86 rx7 n/a 5spd with only a 2.5 in exhaust from stock man. straight back no cat, a z28 came up on me out of no where. we toyed around a lil bit but nothing crazy. we came up on a redlight. i rolled into it and he was about 1/2 a car behind me. i pulled on him a lil more in second, but as soon as i hit third he floated past me..im guessing either he was back there smoking the tires or his car was running like ****...anyways it was fun

 

Same thing happened to me in my S4 NA with a few mods up against a 2000 v-8 Mustang. Stayed even till about the top of second, as soon as we shifted to third, at about the same time, he just pulled and pulled.

They've just got more power. Period.

You need a bridgeport.

 

I took a z28 ones from a 75mph roll, we were even till around 120, then I started pulling on him. He could have just gotten scared and let go but Ill never know. My fc(s5) just had an exhaust and no cats.

 

yea people really underestimate 7's. its funny. he waited for me tonight and asked me how big my motor is blah blah blah. i asked him if he wanted to run down millsburo(a really curvy *** road) and he immediatly declined. haha

and i dont know if i want to bridge port the other motor that i have. i was kinda thinkin of a mild streetport because its my daily driver and i still want the reliability.
