Pretty quick modded Boxter S flyby...
Im on the highway this morning on my way home from a friend's house when I saw this nice looking red Boxter mergine into traffic. I didnt think much of it. I glanced through my rearwiew and saw him pull onto the left lane and floored it.
I didnt think he was gonna do it but what a surprise, a ricer flyby??? WTF??? oh hell no. Droped into 2nd(going 65) and quickly shifted to 3rd. He went by me but only managed to end up with his rear bumper on my front bumper(he had a helluva head start!). So I start to reel him back in and got up to his door but had to let off the gas due to traffic. I paced him about 3 cars behind while he weaved in and out of traffic but we didnt get to race again.
We took the same exit and talked a little. It turned out to be full exhaust, intake, head work, rechiped ecu and i'm sure he had a little more cause it seemed to me that it would be a bit quicker than a stock Evo. I was quite impressed with it. Fairly quick for a Boxter S. Lining up with it would have been pointless though.

He's got stock (almost dead) turbos, running 12 PSI (I believe) with PFC, FMIC, DP, and some other goodies. I'm sure he'll chime back in.
Good stuff Manny, I still haven't had a ride in your FD, or anyone else's...we should go for a cruise again.

My buddy just bought one. And honestly the the stock 280 HP version is as fast or faster than a stock FD. Don't forget that this is a chick car... Second gear goes up to 80 MPH and handles damn good. Not a bad car actually it fun to drive, his is black so it's not as girly lol.

He's almost got it...i'm running 10psi on a street port with almost all boltons. Im barely putting down 300 or so ponies.
eriksseven is correct, i was would have walked him pretty hard had there been less traffic. Not only that but he had a real big head start. By the time i punched it he was less than a car behind.
Ihor,
This one seemed to be the butch broad of the group, lol. I know what you mean though. I must admit that for what it is, i was impressed. Then again, it might have been the head start on the flyby...kinda hard to tell.
