I was driving around today going to return some stuff at Fry's. I took the cobra because it was real nice out. On the way I was about to merge onto the highway when I saw a brand new silver viper comming up from behind. He was in the far left line as if he was turning around. My light turned green so I gassed it and peeled out a bit to get his attention. He bit and changed lanes to follow me onto the highway. Unfortunatlely there was a ton of traffic, so we spent the next few minutes weaving around but there was just no space to safely go. He ended up in front as I got stuck behind a slow moving truck. He was weaving through traffic and I tried to follow, but I really don't like doing this with that many people on the road. He seamed to get pretty squirly a few times. Eventually I caught up and he punched it as a small clearing opened up across to the far right lane. I followed and stayed with him, but then we both had to brake because of traffic. It was hard to tell from the brief stint, but it seamed like I could have at least hung with him. He waved like he wanted me to follow him onto the next highway. I was going that way anyway so I followed. Same thing happened, traffic was heavy and I ended up weaving around cars to stay with him. Suddenly he cut over and exited. I said screw it and let him go. Anyway, it was fun but I wish we got a decent run it.

 

That would of been a godly run.

 

do they have more power now??? i know those guys dont consider anything worth running anyways....
I had an old guy in a GTS rev me and follow me to the parkway but once there he backed off and would not take the bait.

what type of JLT intake do you have? CAI or RAI? did you get it painted?

This guy seamed pretty cool. Didn't look too old, maybe in his 30's.

 

JLT CAI. Its painted gloss black. Didn't want it to stand out too much.

i ran one once on the highway and let me tell u i never seen a car took of sooo quick in my life. Make me fien for more power.
