Pathetic race, but I haven't had a kill story in a while.

Pathetic race, but I haven't had a kill story in a while.

Well, after I got off of work tonight, I noticed my friend/fellow WAL-MART associate Kyle tailing me in his Lumina. Now, I'm in the '79 Pontiac Grand Prix 2 door (with a 301c.i. V8 [I know, I've never heard of a 301 either, but thats what it has] and a puny 2bbl carb)... in other words, NOT a rocket ship by ANY means. Its a friggin boat/cruiser man! Anyway, my buddie gets behind me at the left-turn light and flashes his brights a couple of times. The light goes green and I turn onto 190 (westbound) and I'm in the left lane. He zips over to the right lane and floors it, attempting a flyby, if you will. I notice and hesitate to hammer it, but decide "Meh, what the hell. I could use the entertainment." so I floor it at 35mph and hear it downshift, releasing its mighty (and by "mighty" I mean "puny") V8 power, and actually putting a couple of cars on him. I let off at about 55mph, and slow down again, letting him catch up. He floors it again, and by about the time he's about 4 feet from his front being even with my rear fender, I floor it, matching his speed and before long, putting a good 3 car lenghts on him. LOL, I know, not a very impressive kill by any means, but it was fun and made me chuckle, so I figured I'd share. Well, goodbye.

At least that was almost a fair race. You probably read my lame-*** kills on an escort an prelude. The car feels best in the winter, but nobody else has their nice cars out.

The only reason I'm in the 7 so often is because my Celica got hit by a drunk driver. I'll finally be getting it back in the next couple days, then I'll start posting kills in both cars.
