I was crusing around past the airport yesterday and i noticed a beautiful m5 being a little playful with me, he was a head of me at a red light, first inline with me right behind him. Sure enough when the light turned green he punched it and i did the same, the right lane quickly opened up so i took it and went blowing by the beamer in second gear, i shifted to third to keeper going and pulled on him all the way to about 140km/hr. when he caught back up he was giving me the thumbs up with a big smile on his face, he had his wife and kid with him in the car aswell, the were both loving it also.

My fd is a single turbo 60-1 with a t4 hotside running 15psi, large streetport, pettit SMIC and all suporting mods making 420rwhp, i thought the M5 would have been a worthy opponent but as it turned out, it wasnt.

 

The M5 also weighs over 1k pounds more than your FD. Not to downplay it's abilities. It'll do 0-60 under 4.8, but he might not have been driving it right.

it wouldnt have mattered if it was Lewis Hamilton driving the M5, it wasnt gonna hang with my Fd.

Thats the second cool BMW driver i'v met, The guy i bought my Fd from had an M3 as his daily driver.

 

The V10 also shines more in the upper rpm's, not as much in the lower as the V8 did. Not saying a better driver would have beat or hung with you, just maybe wouldn't have fallen as far back. With your mods I'm not surprised you pulled on him.

 

I have a M5 with dinan software, exhaust and intake and it hangs with my modded viper. I am sure if you pulled on him that bad he didnt have the m-tec botton pushed. becouse that thing make a world of diffrents.

they said on top gear once you push the M button you gain like 150hp or some ****.

420 to the wheels and saying you will beat a moddified viper? My friends moddified evo hardly took a viper, (Unknown if it was moddifed) and he had 410 to all wheels w/ a great launch!. (I was in the car).
Im not so sure the "m" was pushed either, then again maybe he just wanted to see how retarded you would be and show his kid what not to do.
