Not A Kill But - The Viper Had 800 Hp

hey guys check this out, im on 95 south going to my brothers in VA and im cruzzin about 85mph, i look in the mirror and i see these head lights commin at me really fast, so i said hmmmm let me see and i down shift to 4th and let it stay at about 4000rpm, and the car gets beside me and lord and behold its a viper gts i think all i know it had the high back and stripes, i have a gt catback and highflow cat, and it made my car sound like a hamster on its wheel so im still in fourth and not knowing what he had i line up with him with med traffic i said lets go, so traffic comes up on us and we have to start all over so by this time im in third rev still about 4500 so he plays with me and he shoots out with flames popiin everywere, so i got on it and before you knew it more traffic, you know how 95 is so we just said forget it, we waved it off and went our sep ways, im sure he will be on the 95 again and now that i have my t-78 ill be waiting to see what happens ( he he )

Just to let you know there aren't many Hennessey's on the road and they by far aren't the only ones to make high horsepower vipers. The Vipers that Heffner's (A shop between Baltimore and Washington DC) builds are by far better and more easily accessable than say a Hennessey. I have seen his cars run 8 sec. passes and still be driven on the street. I wouldn't doubt that if what this guy ran was a built car it was probably out of Heffners shop. I highly recommend he and his shop for this type of work.

He started out 15 years ago with mustangs like a lot of tuners and really found his niche with the Viper. His shop is incredible and has at any given time between 10-15 Vipers around usually with a couple of bikes and maybe the occasional Lambo or so. He has a Dyno built in and he incredibly easy to talk to.

Blown Vipers are becoming more comon and most do make around 800hp so our man here probably assumed the Viper was blown.
