I was chilling with some friends at a late night restaurant when i had a call from a friend saying that he thinks this kid could beat me in his mom's lexus. I told him that its not likely but i will anyways (I don't know what type of lexus yet). So i get in my car and meet up with him. I was very surprised to see a 04 Lexus SC430 pull up next to me.
So i figured my chances of winning were slim to none. But anyway, we went to the highway and came to a stop. I revved it up to 5k, honged three times and we were off. I quickly put a car lenght on him through first, then almost two during second. I took third gear to about 7.7k and i could see him coming up on me pretty quick. Once in fourth i saw his lights at my rear bumper but it stayed there fer several seconds, then at around 115 he walked past me.
So, i wouldn't really count it as a lost cuz we didn't determine how long we would race... i wasn't planning on racing that long so ya. But heck, i think my car didn't do half bad considering it has 183000 miles on it and is 16 years older.
