I started the vid, watched for a few seconds, and said to myself "hmmm, something doesn't sound right". Then I looked at your sig. Is the silver one rotary powered or no?

Was it even necessary to post that?

If you don't like it, don't post and move on..

they all looked stock to me, the red one at the end looked like the only one who was actually pushing his car but it is no match for a v8 powered 7 in the straights. i wouldn't really gloat though, the elise is still a nice car and handles well but just wasn't built for pulling hard in the straight.

That's why they made the Exige, a supercharged Elise.

Nice vids
Its fun to watch FDs out racing, I'm just sad that it had to be v8 powered 7s
I'd much rather watch and listen to rotary powered 7s out there beating on those Elises
It still makes me want a FD track car though

I would like to see more RX7s at the track. Rotary or v8 I just like to see more racing. I almost never see rotary rx7s at the track only v8's. All three rx7's in the video are street cars not track cars.

Have you thought to look in the "Race" section?

My friend Paul and I at Laguna Seca last week:

An Elise is only a high performance Celica motor. Made for handling only. But of course its no match for a rx7.

At 194 hp and under 2,000 lbs the Elise is, on paper, faster than a stock FD. Having driven one it certainly does not feel faster. But what it feels like is meaningless.
