N/A FC killed MS6

I was driving a back road the other day, I notice a nice orange Mazda Speed 6..

He pulls next to me, I see a set of wheels, then as he goes by I hear his not quite stock BOV venting to the atmoshere, Then I see the too large exhaust.. He slows down we get door to door, he honks 3 times and we go.. we were almost exactly the same, then I started to creep past, but never did, shut it down around 70 mph,,the guy rolls the window down and yells "thats not stock.."

I smiled and said My ports are..

An N/A FC... beat- or even kept up with -an MS3? I call BS on this unless you have some MAJOR mods. Stock ports too?

What are your mods? What kind of weight reduction? A stock MS3 runs the 1/4 in 14sec. flat with 11.99 lbs to 1hp. While the 7 would run the 1/4 at 16.5sec with 18.87 lbs to 1hp.

Plus you stated that he wasn't stock. I'm not saying it couldn't happen, but from the info you gave, it seems like it would be VERY unlikely.

a lightly modded t2 would have trouble keeping up with a stock ms6, if your NA was a PP motor, ok I could see it. I own a ms3, and when my t2 had some basic mods, it was close to stock ms3.

i dont think there is an orange ms6....but there is an orange msp. But op stated that he saw two exhaust??? so may be its a bright red ms6??
Anyways....i am not into ms series...but isnt this cars have close to 300hp motor (AWD)?? It is pretty hard to believe that stock s4n/a would beat this car. I been looking for one to run with (msp, ms3 or ms6).

MS6's didnt come in orange.

Since this thread is full of **** anyway, im gonna assume you KNOW the difference between an MSP which did come in orange or a real mazda 6 body.

That being said, a REGULAR mazda 6 comes in an "orange" color. They call it "blazing copper metallic".

That most likely is the one you raced. How you heard the "bov", i have no idea. And even if that idiot decided to turbo that, you still wouldnt beat him.

I think you heard an imaginary bov and beat the mazda 6 4cyl version as even the v6's are quite peppy.

The only plausible option would be a NA V8. But that would be gay, since the car is no longer stock, and he'd be a bitch to tell people it was.

What's the GLHS?

I doubt a NA FC could even beat a 4 cyl Mazda6.

If it is a true ms6, even with a driver error (such as misshift), ms6 will still be able to catch up (once turbo is fully boosted) and prob passed stock n/a s4/s5.
