My Death & My Kill - 800hp & 517hp Supras

Hey Guys,
You probably remember my threads about being totally demolished by the 800rwhp supra and then having the two runs with the 517hp...

Here's the first one with the 800hp supra. (right click save)

2 runs. 1st run by the time I hit boost he's already 2 cars ahead....2nd run I miss 3rd and never bothered.

Here's the 2nd run with the 517hp Supra.

He runs with N20 usually and gets right at 550 with N20 and 517 without. The runs with me he ran without becasue it was messing up his ignition some how. He misses 4th on both runs....BUT i was ahead a tiny bit...Sure it will be different when he sprays

Here's the Surpa vs. 911.

Then that same night the 800hp Supra has a run in with a 911 Turbo....Well, the Supra looses to the 911 from 30 - 135. Apparently the 911 has a bunch of upgrades which are in prototype stage and is pushing over 800.

Man, we've been getting some awesome races here in town with some reall nice cars. Pretty killer for Tulsa.

See all mods and dynos at www.apneablue.com/rx7

Steve is going to retune me sometime this summer on race gas to 18...So I should be around 445 at 18...My guess. I am at 412 now and 404 running the water injection.

Run some C-16 and crank the boost up to 20-22 lbs.

I think when I get an wideband and can monitor my AFRs on the fly I will feel comfortable to do that. But i'm a pretty paranoid **** when it comes to upping the boost.

If the car is tuned correctly you will be fine. Steve tunes a bit rich as well.

it's too bad the 7 looks so nice and can't make as much reliable power as that toyota motor. the 7 looks so much nicer than the supra. great vids by the way. i just got killed by my friend's bpu+ '94 supra and it drives me crazy. i'm thinking of going to the dark side and getting one--or maybe a viper gts now that they're coming down in price.

the z06 is hot but for the money, id get a used viper

how can you compare? you see a vette which are a dime a dozen everywhere..then you have a viper, v10 power, awesome looks, just an all out crazy car..

i seen multiple vettes and then i see vipers in person, vipers look 100x better in person than in pictures..some pictures cant justify some of the styling and curves this car has..

It's pretty crazy man...We've been getting some pretty high HP cars coming to our hang out. We end up hanging at this one Carpet & Tile parking lot and people just pull in from 10 - 2am and every so often someone will walk up to you ask to race...then you just jump on the highway and hit it..

It's so strange. We had this 04 cobra and a really quick gutted fox body with roll cage and everything....They just went out on the road infront of the Carpet & Tile and did drag runs at 1:30 in the morning...They were doing upwards of 120 on a 35mph road...The road is 5 lanes wide with the center lane being the turning lane...It's so trippy watching this happen right in the middle of town.

I am going to go out there with the the video cam from now on and capture all this craziness.

Then maybe this would interest you....

This is my friend mike. Its a 93 R1 RX7 w/ 2JZTT with the Getrag 6spd tranny. This was an awesome swap to do. He did all the wiring and everything. We are throwing around the possibility of making a conversion kit to sell to people with a harness. Anyways check it out!

I don't think I could get past the idea that I am driving around in a clown show

apneablue, nice vids and there is definitely no shame in those losses. I love the Supra, and will either add it to my "collection" in due time, or if I get antsy enough may sell my FD for one. I have definite dreams of being greedy though and having both
