I was going home form work this afternoon doing the speed limit and I passed an older guy in a black 928 then we both got caught at a light. I started slowing down before he did but he stayed right beside me as he was braking. I thought to myself that this guy may wanna race and he might beat me. Im not sure what year the car was and I just did a search for years it was made and quarter times. It was made from the late 70s to the early 90s and Im sure this was probably an 80s model. It didnt have any badges that I could see but then again I didnt really look for any when I first saw it as I knew it was a 928. Anyway, we are just sitting at the light waiting for the change. Neither one of us revs or anything. Just looking staright ahead and im not sure hes gonna go and I dont wanna just go full throttle from the green and look like a total dipshit ricer if he doesnt go. So the light goes green and we both take off normal with him going just a bit faster. Then he just goes for it after hes about a car and a half in front of me. Im still in first and I floor it and im right there at his back bumper pretty quick and then I shift to second and go pretty even with him. After I shift to third im pulling past him pretty easy and he shuts down. Im not sure if he was foolin with me or if I got him. The website I found listed the 80s models at around a high 14 second 1320 and somewhere around a 6.3 0-60. This is only my second time actually messing with anyone with my car so I know its nothing steller. I did race my buddies f-250 the other day though. Im gonna post that story up next. It was a definate kill.
