Is this what you want, or what you've got?
An 87 with a full 3" exhaust and intake won't be making 12psi, it'll be much higher. Without a lot more fuel, you'll be lucky to complete a pass without popping it...

it's not making much higher because i had to get a custom turbo inlet duct made due to the fmic piping obstructing the old one. this one is a little more restrictive and i think that is what is holding my boost down. i've been keeping it at 10psi because i don't want to go pop but i'll probably dump some 720's in it before i run 12 psi at the track. the walbro 255lph fuel pump and the malpassi boost dependent fuel pressure regulator aren't enough to safely support 12 psi?

my af meter currently reads rich all the way to 10psi, will that extra 2 really make my engine go pop?

I have an K&N intake on my '87 TII and I am about to put a 3"DP & 3"MP and cat-back. What stock parts should I replace. Will I need a boost controller, BOV, I don't really know. Pretty much all I want to know is if it is safe, just to throw a intake and exhaust like that on a stock engine. Any input would be great thank you.

my engine lasted 6000mi with just intake and 3" exhaust. You need a hi flow pump to richen things up and some gauges so you know how you are running. As my car first goes back together this is what I will be running during the break in. After that I"m moving up to 720cc injectors and S-AFC

i agree, you probably don't want to do more than 8psi with the stock fuel system, if you get a walbro fuel pump, you could probably go 10 safely. if you want a little more, get a front-mount and do 12, but after that your turbo is beating the hell out of it's self. also, with the set up you are talking about it will be possible for you to hit 12-15 psi at times so be careful, don't do the turbo inlet duct and you might top out at 12.
