Modded FD vs. ignorant Mustang V6

I can't really call this a kill...it'd be like seeing a 18 year old dude beat the crap out of an annoying 12 year old. But this dude wouldn't get the hint. I'm minding my own business, on the freeway, and pass this 40-something dude in his shiny red V6 Mustang. He was doing the whole "I'm flexing my arm while steering" one-handed thing and I'm guessing he didn't like me passing him, cause he shot around me right after I cruised by him. I didn't think much of it cause its just a V6. So I get around some traffic, the Mustang included, and get off the freeway. And what would ya know, he gets off too. We head into town and he starts riding my *** in an uncomfortable way, so I give the car half-throttle and walk away from him like nothing. We get into town and I make a right, he follows, and this time I'm behaving and just cruising along, and he flies up on my *** really bad...like a foot away kinda bad. I had enough, put it in 2nd, and unleashed the fury of the BRAP BRAP BRAP...it was really sad and he left me alone after that. He's probably kicking himself now, thinking "I shoulda got a V8" hehe.

That's my pathetic kill story for the morning. People in this town are retarded.

good kill...i think we've all had something like that happen...most of mine have been with red stangs too. Kinda sad acctually. Its like you have to take the "are you a ****** driver" test before they let you buy a red V6 stang...

Damn, I know how bad I beat a V8 mustang with stock twins at 10 PSI, just thinking about a T-66 against a V6 is crazy!

Uh...a v8 being a cobra or LS1 right? Because it would take A LOT of work to get a GT to beat a single FD.

Well considering that the dude may have thought that the V6 had a chance, its not a far reach to think that he may figure a V8 would have gotten me lol...it was meant as a joke more than anything else.

I've taken a V6 stang from a stop in my '97 DeVille (with 97kmi). Pretty sad he thought he could take an FD.

nice kill dude, completely agree with you about putting the guy back in his place. To be honest I never really race those guys (V6 stangs), I actually feel bad for them. The way I look at it, if they had the money for a V8, I'm sure they would have gotten it.

Well, a lot of people think a mustang is just fast anyway. A lot of them can afford V8's but simply think the mustang is fast. Period.

It just seems like everything and anything wants to race.. I now take a few hundreds and put them one the window when annoying people try to race. It sounds conceded but it works most the time.. Racing on the street is bad. I still am guilty now and then. Just keep it on an open interstate at short distances. This is a hypocritical rant, but oh well..Be safe and carry a pistol w/ that $$!HAHa

I've had a kill story as pathetic as this, at least comparatively. I raced my friends '80 camaro with V8 and auto in my mostly stock, very untuned '82 gsl 5 speed. We raced from a stop, me getting at least a car length on him from the start. Put simply, he was far enough back at the end to see the flames from my exhaust when I let off at about 110 km/h. Must have been 5 carlengths or so between me, and I had someone with me too. Like I said, pathetic.

A new V6 stang should be able to take any near stock nonturbo Rx-7. I think they run mid or high15's with a manual. Remember, they have 210hp, despite being heavy.

I pulled about a car length on a 99+gt from a 50mph roll when I had a boost leak and was getting only 3psi in non seq!!! That's a true story and a pathetic for mustangs...we raced twice in a row and we were laughing inside the car him not knowing that I was down 9psi of boost from normal which has to be 75+ rwhp
