On the turnpike (I35) yesterday I'm cruising along about 80, just keeping up with the traffic flow, you know. I go to pass this Chrysler 300C that was in the right lane and he goes from his 65 - 70 up to my speed. So I am thinking, "okay....maybe he was just snoozing over there or something..." and I let him go thinking he'd continue on.
Nope.
He just starts pacing me....doesn't matter if I slow down to 70 or run up to 90. I glance behind me and see that there is some faster traffic coming up so I decide '**** this' and just romp it. Dude in the 300 decides to do the same. We are pretty much dead even up to 125 mph or so, I just stayed in it and watched the speedo sweep past 135 and also watch him fade back.

My exit is coming up so I pull over to the left side after getting a couple of hundred yards ahead and start slowing for it, here this dumbass comes and passes me and then swerves into the exit ramp and then slows down HARD and creeps around the ramp at about 40....sigh. When we get off the ramp and are approaching the toll booths I pull over to the right to use the K-tag (automatic gate) lane and **** nuts thinks I am STILL trying to race him or something as he gooses it again, but he has traffic in front and can't get too far before he has to slow down again. I pull up beside him and roll my window down, motioning for him to do the same as I wanted to 'talk' to him a bit....he won't roll it down and suddenly guns it again and picks the far left toll booth, so I just motor over to the K-tag lane and go thru and get past him and pull onto 235 and head out west.
I just don't get ********* like this.

volvos are great, after reading that all i could think about were those awful dodge commercials with the two rednecks 'FLOOR IT MAN!'
