so on my way home from work 2night i pull out on rt 1 when a civic pulls out from the other side so i fly by like i always do and the next thing i know he does a ricer fly by. so we are both stuck at the next light cause it is always red. so i through a couple revs at him in my bone stock 90 miata. he throws a coupla back with a smirk on his face like this is in the bag. (his car had a fart can and what else i dont know) when the light turns green i launck at 6k hit the revlimiter and shift and glance ofer and he is behind me along with a m-b c-class that wanted to go to i think i redline 2nd hit third and shutdown at like 65 with him still behind. i shutdown b/c there was a car in my lane and there are sometimes cops around there. but he kept going. so at the next light we are both back stuck behing a lot of cars and he starts jackassing around like he won. but i think i won, also i broke my exhaust doing that.

You broke your exaust? I would suggest replacing it with one from racing beat (I love mine), or Flyin miata. The only race I got into with my miata was with this dumb kid with an 88 vert. All his friends say its fast and turbo, It beat it, No... It didnt beat it I butt fucked it HARD (It was a ragged out s4 vert so, not hard to do).


Everybody thinks these cars are slow, but in Stock form 90 BHP in a 2100 LB car will scoot pretty good, Its not fast but its quick, and it handles well enough that Ive beaten a vett driven by a slightly experienced driver at my first autocross event.

 

I've seen almost any kind of car you cvan think of fall to the Miata's at an autocross.

 

I say Miata, cause they so light.
