me vs honda accord v6

raced a v6 accord the other night. We started at 20 mph, he honked three times and we went. Immediately i pull a car or so on him. then i shift from first to third (oops). He slowly started to pull on me so i pulled it back into second and started pulling on him. Im not sure how many cars i had on him at the end, but i had him pretty good. BTW, street racing is stupid. Dont do it.

Autotragic tranny. Moving the gearshift level sequentially past 2nd into 3rd by applying too much forward force.

Auto-fail. lol. Stupid thing is, you shouldn't have to shift an automatic trans unless its built for it, thus why it's called an automatic. Foot to the floor and go.

I was shifting it because we were going from a roll and didn't want to wait for it to downshift.

I raced him cuz i thought the v6 accords were supposed to be pretty quick, but it wasnt quick enough.

I don't think you should be racing anything with an automatic transmission like that. Do a swap and you can downshift whenever the hell you want!

V6 accords pretty quick? Where the hell did ya get that idea.

I'd question the integrity of your engine if he started to catch you...shouldn't even be a chance...unless of course he's modded nice

I thought they were quick because i saw a video on youtube of a v6 accord against a mustang gt and they were just about even. The only reason he started to catch me was because I was in third gear when I should have been in second.

I knew this thread was not going to end well. We understand you are excited and have an FD. We all want you to enjoy it. Please do not post anymore "races".

Was not a good kill. It simply proved that you are retarted for

Owning an automatic rotary
Failing at gear changes in an auto
Thinking an accord was fast
Posting it here.

Better luck next time.

He said what others were being much nicer about saying and I agree with him.

Look dude, you sound like a really young kid who is trying to be fast and furious and you aren't impressing anyone with a story about:

1) Racing an Accord
2) Shifting an Automatic

That's just a start. I'm trying very hard to be nice. The FD is a great car, learn more about it, don't post stories (no matter how excited you are) that make you sound like 16yr old ricer and build your car right and that is how you get respect around here...not posting ricer style races.

Understand?

aww damn it, evo23 you beat me to it. I was gonna point out the misspelling of retarded.

But we all were retarted at one point or another with our cars.

Aww no, I made a typo. And I fail to see how a race between an accord and an auto rx7 could be epic. Anyway your still retarted.
