LS1/Shelby/Rx7/My TT (vid)

It's been awhile so here are some kills for ya......................While driving to the crib these two kids in a cobalt are weaving in and out of traffic to catch up to me. I have no intention of racing as they try to bait me by getting in the other lane and speeding up and slowing down. They decide to make a left turn and there was a ls1 t/a ready to take there place. He blips the throttle to let me know he wants a run. Three honk 2nd gear roll and I easly pull about car and then miss 3rd. We ran into some traffic so we turned into a parking lot and the guy says "what kind of car is that"? I say it's a 911 twin turbo and he replies, "they race those against the vettes don't they" . So he asked me if I would race him again and I agree, we go from a slow first gear roll, like 15mph. He was waiting for a honk but I just waved for him to go so he got the hit. I knew at that speed he was in trouble with my awd. We take off and I'm not shittin you I had him my 10 cars at the top 3rd gear. I slow down and the look on his face is priceless. :roflmao:

This really wasn't the best run but a run no less. I was going to the office and see a gray shelby 500 cruising a few cars up. I catch him and there was knowone in front of us, I drop to 2nd and as soon as he hears that it takes off. He got the hit but I was pulling him and before I could pass him he got out of the throttle. I tried to get him to run again but he just stayed away from me until I turned on another road.

Here is a vid of a couple of runs at the drag strip. Pay no attention to that mustang getting walked. In the next run I'm alone, I had the fastest car there that night and knowone wanted to line up with me. This happened a few times. Imagine that a road car scaring drag cars. I ended up making 11 passes and got beat once by a old *** monte carlo that hooked like a monster and I had a crappy launch but still trapped about 10mph faster. Can't win them all.

I raced one of my friends swapped ls1 rx7 with all the bolt ons. I had a feeling that I was going down because the 7 is about as fast as my old supra with a trap speed in the mid 120's and I know my TT is not that quick. We lined up at about 40mph 3 honks and he goes sideways and I immediately put 3 cars on him. I hit the top of 4th gear and was 10+ cars ahead. The 7 had no traction so I got lucky.

The next run we went from a 70mph roll and he still went sideways, I was able to get a car ahead till about 115mph and then saw tailights as he finally gets some traction and is running away, I just let out because it was ugly.

1.894 which sux. There are alot of guys clipping the 1.7 mark on street tires, but Irp is a notoriously slow track on street legal days which is un prepped.

Awesome car, but if you were the fastest car at the strip with a 12.47, then there must have been a lot of junk out that night.

12.0 man!!! Pay attention. It was really cold and the fast cars didn't want to risk it.
