Killed a supercharged Acura w/ lambo doors

So last evening I went to the dragstrip with a few of the ricer kids from here. Well it poured down rain just as we got to the strip.
So on the way home we're on a 4 lane rd (it was me and the acura interga at this point) I kept looking for a clear place, well he pulls up beside a friend of his in a truck (I was behind him) I kept thinking he's gonna go any time, so I down shift to 3rd just as I hear him go WOT.
He pulls to the right after the pass and I blow right past I didn't let off till I had 3 bus lengths on him. Then I think to myself *I just did the ultimate ricer flyby*OMG I was thinking he let off as he cleared the truck.
We stop at the light a few miles down the road and I ask " were you down on it ?" "A little bit" he says. WTF does that mean. Anyway I talk to his friend today and confirms he was WOT. He also seems to think Im faster than the most feared car around here (not by me) A WRX STI.

So here are my questions

Should I run at the dragstrip and show them what I got?
If WRX boy asks should I challenge for $$ knowing he probably wont?
Should I do like the Pink floyd song and "leave those kids alone" (since Im at least double there age?

My car is really not set up for drag racing I have run at VIR (road corse) . I get terrible wheel hop when I do but I rarley do a launch.

Mods: Hybrid turbo, Microtech all the supporting mods 305 rwhp

lol

Hopefully the "at least double their age" was an exageration, because that would mean the youngest you could be is 32, hanging out with 16 year olds.

Well that's actually acceptable. I thought you meant you were like the guy from Dazed and Confused, still hanging out with teenagers are re-living high school. Haha...

Race him from 40mph +...and you should have no problem. WRX's are geared for the 0-70mph zone. After that..you will have no problem, especially if he is putting down less then 375rwhp.

If he is putting dfown RWHP then something is wrong, considering the car is AWD.

Anyway, beat his *** Johnny!

at the wheels the sti makes between 260-270hp stock if it had bolt-ons it could be closer to 300hp.... im assuming your fc makes 305hp at the wheels right? if so then you will wipe his *** all over the asphalt. and he has a stock turbo!? you will rape him! sti's boost tapers after like 5k and slowly falls and thats even with a bolt-on turbo upgrade! and as we all know they are heavy! as long as you have more top-end thats all that matters cause he will only get you on a launch if he even know how to launch: on AWD manual vehicles you need to slip the clutch because if not you will experience what all the EVO owners are experiencing

from what i experience with the STI racing on the street, most of the sti driver does not know how to do a proper launch on their own car. yeah and i agree with you guys that STI turbo spool only kicks in at 5K and even though the car have a higher horsepower, i'm not really worried that the FC is going to lose due to the fact that FC is light in the mass wise and they have a very high end hp
