Good kill.
As far as the RX-8 goes that is one nice car but is not capable of what the FD can do therefore with no doubt any good running fd will take one very easy.

STI's fast, plus the blue one you smoked is mildly modded, it has an exhaust, intake and loud BOV (this dude shows up at KOHL's all the time) so for that kill.

Who knows Bronx River PKWY good, that is one twistie road you whana be in driving in the early morning or late night with no traffic and Cops of course and have some real funn, I love it.

Good kills bro.

hehe...did it look bone stock, but sound badass?

because if it's who i think it was, it was a friend of mine

he recently put in an electronically controlled downpipe and HKS BOV, i think...and that's a bout it--be careful next time though, he's got A LOT of **** coming in...FMIC, turbo upgrade, upgraded ecu and a few other goodies

you'll know if he had it open or not, the thing sounds like a ******* chopper when it's open...BADASS

i only think it's him because he told me he lined up with a third gen rx7 one night, with an older white male driver driving it...so i figured it was either john (twinturbo93) or you, plus he also said the driver of it said it was stock, and i only know one person around here with a black third gen that is still stock :P

either way good kills...and sorry to hi-jack

edit: what does your rear plate read, i'll ask him about it

Really? So you do know the driver of the STI.... Bye the way, Interview him about the out come of the line up. I think you will see that my story matches his...

After he is finished tell him that my car is not Black. It just looks black at night, it's Montego Blue............... Oh and my plate.............RX7UP

I've driven somewhere around 6 or 7 of the 8's when I was working at a dealership. They're great cars, automatics or the 6 speeds, they're both fun. Loved them both, I think my goal will still be a 7 over an 8 though.

Bump from the dead...

Finally test drove an RX8 tonight.... I tested it on the Bronx Parkway... The sales man shitted his pants.... When we got back to the dealer he said, "he never been in a car under those circumstances in his life... He also said that I was a talented driver and he did not know that a car and driver were capable of such maneuvers at such high rates of speed....

The RX8 is a great handling car..... Pretty good all around!

Heh, yeah... I've read about good drives scaring the pants off of salesman in the RX8. They don't know what they're selling, and then all of a sudden a good driver comes in for a ride...

On "weaving through traffic" and all that stuff... I've weaved traffic at 110 to catch a WRX in my FC. The trafffic was probably doing ~95 . Same sort of deal it seems though, I ran a little hard to catch him... we hit the bridge and it was just empty. I couldn't believe it. I wasn't really up for racing as I had the fat man in the passenger seat (250lbs... hasn't ridden in my car since this). It was just so clear though, I was just like "roll up your window"... ran him across the bridge from I dunno... like an 80 roll. He pulled 2 cars on me (drivin a stock NA that day) then I pulled them back and got 2 when he grabbed 5th (as soon as I saw I was pulling on him again (but not hard enough that he'd obviously let off or anything) I let that bitch sit in 4th (I was at 5800) 'till I was by him, and thoroughly sick of that buzzer.

My friend Tim dared me to do the craziest thing I could think of that wasn't definitely lethal in my Lincoln Mark VIII (he'd already ridden with me plenty, and knew I probably wouldn't get him killed). There's a road around here where you sort of come at this hill from a similar direction that you exit it from. You can see therefore any cars coming down the other way. The hill crests into a small plateau around a slight turn. I'd already had a bit of practice jumping the short plateau and sliding the car (90% in my lane) down the other side of the turn. He literally pissed his pants.

Needless to say this is ridiculously stupid, but amazingly consistent. It's nice because when you come down the hill again you have a downhill straight to a 90 left to a flat straight to a 90 right to an uphill straight... once again you can see the whole path. If I can't see an INCREDIBLE distance ahead of me I don't leave my lane. Well... at this point I don't run back roads unless they're blocked off (usually use some pickup trucks and radios) and I'm not talking about roads with even one house on them. I growed up a little, but I'm still a kid.
