^ +1 and i call bull **** also. Your FC with mods (unless you have a turbo'd N/A) wont even hit the 14's in the quarter with a driver like you. Even with a good driver, you better have a **** load of mods like a giant port to hit the 14s. An RX8 runs high 14s stock and he would've caught on if he had a bad launch.

wow, those are some sorry figures. I somehow don't think there is a 24% drivetrain loss happening.

the rx8 is like the new generation fb. it's a real nutless wonder, and I'm pissed off at mazda for ruining the rx.

"Although the RX-8 was rated at 238hp at the flywheel from Mazda, we were only able to muster 181.0 hp to the wheels from it. That is almost a 24-percent loss of horsepower through the drivetrain!"

2005 350z dyno numbers:
220 HP, 207 TQ
(I'm assuming that is at the wheels since it does not indicate otherwise)

237.7 HP,223 TQ with the addition of an intake, exhaust, and plenum spacer.

Too bad they don't include vehicle weight..

If you look at RX8Club.com, most stock runs on dynos equate to only around 165-175hp, IIRC. That's a huge difference from the published numbers from Mazda.

Lol, whether it's true or not, I don't understand the logic behind deciding to recall and document a race that happened "a couple years ago."
