Killed a brand new bmw 6 series

So I'm cruising (well more like hauling) on the 605 at about 85mph and I see this brand new 645 (sorry don't really know the bmw's) about 1/8 of a mile ahead of me. I think to myself "wow this thing looks really nice, maybe I should get a closer look...". I pull up behind it and I'm sure he notices me coming up on him. He decides to push it bit. "Oh he wants to play =D" I let him try to pull ahead a little and then down shift it into 4th and go about 3/4 throttle and pull up onto his bumper. He goes into the next lane to pass a car. I follow suit. At this point I know I've got his attention because he's trying to push it at 100mph and switched lanes quickly to pass that car. We get around that car and I let him pull about 1/2 car, then I floor it and fly by him. I didn't get to see the look on his face, because I went by so quickly (also I didn't want to take my eyes off the road considering there was some light traffic) I expected so much more from them. =T Oh well it's a really pretty car. Lol.

Well it is a heavy luxury coupe (or convertible if it is out). But they are still pretty quick. Good kill.

hmmm i don't remember if it was the vert... I don't think so. I never realized how fast our cars are

On the bmw website says they either come w/ 6 or 8 cylinders

Prolly a V8 model. I saw a 645i the other day, very sexy. It's a great family sedan to have a little bit of fun in.

M6's with the V10 aren't due here until early 06.

More than likely it was a regular 6series..
Nice luxury 2 door. Not the fast one.

Now if it was the M6 with the 500hp V10.
With the 7spd SMG tranny.. Watch out..

btw.. stop racing going 100+ on a busy Highway..

The new M6 and M5 are both great cars, both 500hp. I still remember seeing their huge brake rotors at the nurburgring. They Handle great too my stock j-spec FD wasn't even able to keep up on straights and corners. After 4 laps the M6 blew its engine. I think it was like 2 weeks old after being release, this was in early july 05. and the m5 ring taxi blew its motor on the 10th lap that day. I managed to drive back home after my 6 laps but i would of ran more if i had the money.

I call bullshit, you slow stock FD couldn't beat one!!

FC is gone, I sold it that night I saw you at that Hawaiian Grill. Wait till I finish up my Lexus.

I don't really know that much about BMW's and all that, but I have a friend who drives an E36 M3. He pretty much told me that USUALLY the last two digits in the model number represent the litre of the engine.

So, the 645 you raced was a V8 4.5L. I think. Nice kill though. I love the RX-7.....
