Killed an '06 911 Turbo
Killed an '06 911 Turbo
So i'm in the far right lane on 101 south about to exit and i see this shiney porsche coming up fast on my rear. We get off the freeway and end up next to eachother, as i pull up i notice it says Turbo on the back and still has the dealer tags on it. I rev and nod, "nice car," he goes "Yeah, i just got it!" then its back to staring down the light.
Now let me take a quick minute to explain that i am driving my 95 saturn and in no way expected to win, i just wanted to see the new 911T go.
I rev up to 3.5K and hold on for the light, the guy in the porsche looks down (at his shifter, i guess) and then the green...
I launch as decently as a FWD saturn can, and through my tire chirping i hear the biggest CLUNK ever,
HE STALLED!
does this count as a kill? at the next light he pulls up and i kind of muffle my laughter, at least he is man enough to laugh it with me, i didn't talk to him but, I assume he was just learning stick or something because from that light he pulled out hella clunky not smooth at all.

hahaha I am so glad someone else called him out on the turbo BS. I was afraid I was going to come to the thread and read a bunch of "Man, I heard those new 911 Turbos have 473 horsepower. That's crazy!"
Anyway, regardless of it being an old turbo or a new carrera of any sorts, good kill. Next time you decide to make something up though, be sure that the car you are saying you "killed" is out on the market.

Hehe, i just assumed it was this year's model since it was shiney new and had dealer plates and stickers on it, forgive me for not researching mine adversary, oh rotary gurus.

LMFAO! Man at a stop light once there was a brand new Porsche in front of me still clean from the dealer. Some lady was driving it acting like your average stereo typed rich white lady(brushing her back and had the stuck up mood about her). Anyways the light turns green and she stalls....I'm just like oh man brand new Porsche and you stall...! Why don't people learn how to drive before they buy these house costing cars?

I used to drive my dad's Carrera once in a while. The clutch on those cars is heavy and uneven. I can see how the guy would stall it in the 1st week of ownership.
Come get you some!!
