ok, so i was going up to a sears to exchange some tools that i had broken, i was getting onto 97 towards annapolis. I am driving my dads 2003 honda civic ex. Vtak, baby, cuz my rx7 is having some problems, and i had 2 friends with me, so i pull up to the last stop light before i get onto 97, and i see there is a newer 350z next to me, i look over at him and he does the same, so we both start inching foward when our light is about to change green, and when it turns we launch, i took each gear up to 7200 rpm, right at redline and i stay infront of him until i hit 4th gear and then he passed. i just thought it was funny a $15,000 car with 130hp kinda beat a 280hp Z.

 

he was not trying to beat u apparently

 

he was trying, his engine was screaming. he eventually passed me.

 

I'm going to call upon the....BS FLAG on this one!

But if this is a real story.. what the hell was going on with the driver of the 350Z?

While the 350Z isn't fast by any means, it sure is hell is faster than a civic w/3 people in it...

Never again will I toy with someone like that. Apparently they will do like this guy and post a semi-victory! And to think I messed with all those Hondas in the RX7.

 

^yea i was toying with an eagle talon the other day and i stayed at about 1/4 to half throttle. i hope he didnt go around saying he almost beat me.
