HyperSpeed Supra

Some vids of the HyperSpeed Supra...vs...300hp jet Busa, TT Gallardo, Viper, Vette, another supra... From Houston TX2K11 Supra Nationals ...

My bro and his friend built it. It's a beast... He let everyone get the jump and look what he does to them...

He didn't know he was racing the Jet Busa... he was originally racing the but after he left the vette..he heard something on the right and kept going.....

Maybe I'm totally off, but the video stating he's against a 930whp supra, and a 1300whp gallardo? Zaw's car has the dyno's to prove the 1000-1100whp, and he's pulling on them like they were standing still. I can't believe those other cars are anywhere near the numbers they're claiming on the video.

The Gallardo is probably AWD... power ratings across different dyno's aren't consistent, and possibly most important is the fact that peak hp != average hp. However it's been my understanding that high hp 2JZ builds tend to be very peaky with poor midrange power, maybe the tuning on this one is better. idk

these cars are wicked fast, that's for sure.

He's probably putting it to the ground better than the other guys.

Also there really is no point in stepping on it if you mis a shift or start spinning so maybe there were a couple of times that happened, and the other guy just let off and made it look like they got beat standing still.

Hyperspeed supra is a monster though. It must feel like going through time, literally.

Def an 8 second car. Gotta love those damn 2jz's man. INSANE.

The setup on it right now puts power to the ground great...everything just works together perfect. I know the torque on it is over 900 and I don't think that's been done on a Supra before. Trust me too..it walked those cars. The Gallardo would have been a good race if he didn't let off early... Guess you have a car well over $200K..you don't want to lose to a "lesser" car. Probably hurts your Lambo Mojo Not sure if it's an 8 sec car yet, would be great though. Proven 9's

Those HP numbers are pretty accurate...those guys know better inflate numbers..they get called BS on right away. The Viper guy is local, the 930hp Supra guy is Dallas I believe of GoChroming.com, Vette no idea...(he claims 700 hp), and the TT Gallardo, he has too much money to make it up. His name is SW from Austin (I believe), has a 10 car garage, also owns lots of other cars...Ford GT, Supra, etc

Lol..it's actually quite scary to ride in it..pins you back to the seat when the pedal hits the metal and everything comes up so fast! Scares me, maybe I'm just too old But it's very streetable though. I've driven it regular style and not ***** to wall style. I was surprised.

Don't get me wrong..love the brute power of the Supra, but still love my FD for the looks and finesse Lol..kinda realized already no matter how much power I have in the FD..still gonna get stomped this Supra definitely

Another vid from TX2k11... Clearly those 1500+WHP Lambos would have messed up this Supra. Total insanity...

Yes, they probably would have won. But the Supra would have ran them for the fun of it.. And heck I would take a stock Gallardo over a Supra Some rich dudes though.

lol.. I came to the conclusion that it won't be me Probably the only one to keep up would be EarnieT. Not sure if his is a daily driven 7 though. Can't afford to be replacing engines every week or month

There was a video a while back of an FC with a dry iced intercooler IIRC, running some ungodly amout of boost. Like 860 hp or something. Impressive, but still several notches down from those things.

Zaw's car is very responsive, boost comes on fast for being the size of the turbo. Comparing his setup and similar setups, his car just out spools them.

Compared his 3.2 80mm turbo with 3.4 80mm, still out spools the 3.4 while making more torque.

SW's TTG let out early
Zaw's Supra was pulling on him regardless of whether he was getting on the brakes
there were other witnesses to the race and they said the race was ours and he hit the
brakes way to early

peak dyno numbers mean nothing nor do dyno numbers period
use the dyno as a tuning tool to help the car out and that is it
how it performs on the street and on the track is what really matters
Zaw's Supra on a lesser set up has ran a 9.96@112 in the 1/4
the 1/8 MPH on that pass was only 109MPH
i will let you guys figure that out and see what the car could possibly do

That's this Supra. 76mm Precision Billet, 3.0L, drive around fine on e85, sometimes with the chute on the back. 1208 RWHP

Makes me think about leaving the 7 world from time to time watching him DD that thing, rear seats removed, kirkey driver's seat, still has AC and radio (though hard to hear anything).

There probably investors, the stock market has been doing so well in the last few years that buying these types of "toys" are mere chump change for a lot of investors on wallstreet.

Im gonna live the life of a poorman for the next 5 years or so, so I can afford a cool toy off compound interest alone, with some serious equity wealth and dividends backing it up incase anything goes south.

Some of these high-priced cars can be paid for entirely with "mouse clicks" on a stock-trading website and no sacrifice of wages at all. Very limited edition convertible SS Camaro's to the tune of $75,000 sold out within a week, evidence that the wealthiest 1% have been doing quite well in this economic recovery.

If I hadn't pissed away 30k building a POS, mere 11-second MR2 Turbo, I could go out today and buy a 9 second MR2 plus have close to 12k left over. Gotta get your money working for you first, rather than **** it away on toys in your early years as an investor. Think long-term, not what feels good in the short-term.

I still dont think that supra got what it takes to beat those lambos, but I would love to see a good clean race between the two

^, Depends on what Lambos you're talking about. The 1550whp and the Nera are completely different cars.

This one makes around 1300 and would be a great race lined up with the Supra, as you can clearly tell the owner of the Orange Lambo thought so as well. When he said left off, the Supra was sucking him up, barely getting into fourth gear.

When the owner of the Lambo admits he left off early, not sure what else that could mean.

Theoretically yes that is probably how they got these amazing cars.

But i just want to clear up for the dreamers that read this thread.

Its NOT as easy as you think. SO before you spend your bank account trying to get rich on an online trading site, PLEASE PLEASE do your homework and study.

This is not an overnight thing, you have to obviously invest money, time, and actually know the stock market to get any real profit in the end.

That being said, im still learning myself. I hope it will pay off (im sure not like these guys in the video) but at least somewhat to that degree in the next 5 years.
