theres a guy in my complex who drives a mid 90s accord. not sure what model or his mods or whats under the hood (what if he has a prelude motor?)


anyways what are my chances of winning if we were to race? my airbox is taken off and ive got like no smog equipment at all... cats only.

ive got a hose hooked up from an outlet welded onto the exhaust pipe to my 5th/6th ports to open em up at a certain rpm.


my mods are in the sig.

should i worry about racing him?

I doubt you would have anything to worry about, but you never know until you do it.

thats true. well see. i know an accord doesnt sound like a big deal but my buddy has same model year as this dudes with a prelude motor and a lotta mods. from what i hear his ca is preeeettttttttttttty quick (fast?)

My brother has a 1995 H22 Accord. JDM pushing 230hp at the crank, around 190whp. It's only has a few things to it. We've beaten mustang's, a 90 corvette (nothin really...had headers, exhaust, msd, and chipped computer...hung beside him) He has a P28 ECU only revving out to 5500rpm's, motor can handle 9k. We've beaten alot of stuff....I would get nervous, but its all the driver. You can race a 400whp mustang off the line and beat him. It's all the DRIVER!!!! He can have a sucky start, you can have a good one. I say leave a note on hiw windshield wiper with your phone number, have him call you and set up something. Thats what I'd do...logical, and he wont know what you have.

he knows what kind of car i have... his buddy came up to me while i was sitting in it. he was maybe 35 ft away. his buddy said he was willin to put down 100 bucks on a race between my rotary and his friends accord because his friend doesnt know much about em or something.

idk. if i were to race him itd be on the freeway from a roll or something.

why dont you push it to 9 if it can handle?

Youll annihilate him. Hell, your probably faster than a stock TII. A well setup FB with an FC motor can rip. My buddys FB with a stockport S4 motor with mikunis and all the bolt ons just barely got beat by an S4 TII.

dont hate, but i still havent taken it past 100. scared ill get pulled over or something. it was smooth sailing up to a 100 though. ill check it out soon though.

does he have the stock motor or the h22? if he's got the stock motor then you got it covered with your mods. exhaust might be holding the full potential back though. I wouldn't worry about a thing unless he's turbo or h22 swapped..
