CO Had to show a co-worker the POWER

Co-worker of mine has an 08 Roush 427R, and just so happened to drive in on a night shift with me driving my FD. I was a nice night so I asked if wanted to go for a ride after work? He kinda smiled and said we can race if you want. I laughed and said, ok if you want. Everyone at work all thought I was going to get killed. He then started asking me about the car all shift long. How much Hp do you have? Whats your 1/4 mile time? How much boost do you run?
So at 9pm we got out of work, warmed up the cars, and drove east of the airport to nice 1mile strech of flat asphalt. From a stop I let him go when he was ready. He took about a 1 car jump on me as I sat and spun, then I slammed 2nd and pulled even, I hit 3rd and pulled 6+ by the time I hit 4th he was well behind me. I slowed and he pulled up grinning "Holly **** that thing is fast you hit boost and were gone!!" I laughed and said not too bad for a 15year old car huh.

Actually I ran him on low boost. I rarely run on the street on high.

Beating up on V8s...feels good huh?
Good kill!!

Those mustangs run mid-low 12s stock, trapping around 107-109mph.

What's your et and trap on "low" boost?

I have not offically ran the car on this setup yet. On my old setup I ran mid 11's at 120mph+. I will run it at Bandamiere this spring and find out. If I run anything less a low 11 I will be surprise this thing pulls like a beast on low, and on its just plain scarry!

nice kill. Question about the video in your signature. Something looks wrong with your dyno sheets. Your TQ/HP don't cross lines at 5250. Were different scales used by mistake?
