Got an STi

So I'm doing a shakedown run with my new AEM ignition and a come across an STi on Rt 41 in St John, IN. I am for the most part minding my own business when I get up to him and he hints that he want's to play. So I oblige by getting along side of him. We're going maybe 60 and he gets into it before I'm anywhere near even with him. No matter as I shortly reel him in within about 5 seconds or so and proceed to fly by him as if he were standing still. I had thought that he stopped running, but as it turns out, he was still pushing it. He goes "I thought I was pinned down when you just flew past me." We went twice again, once from a roll and once from a light. Here's were I thought my new ignition was already giving me fits. On the second run, I started bucking wildly, like someone new to a stick trying to start out in first. It settled down and I eventually got him. From the light, I knew he was going to destroy me, which he did, but when I finally caught a little traction in 2nd, it started bucking again. I took it easy from there on until I got home to go over my wiring. No problems there. So I started to do other things (reduce timing split and play with the boost controller...ohhhhhh wait a minute...) So I realize that the controller is on. I was playing with it on 41 and thought it was off. Needless to say I hit fuel cut. The reason? 24.7 psi according to the peak reading on the unit (Profec B spec II) where I'm tuned to 15 (albeit conservatively, so there's some room for error). What a PITA to tune that thing. Yes, the motor is still in one piece. I'm leaving here again in a few to try to figure that out.

Anywho...one more WRX down.
