G-tech, Shelby Cobra vs. other modified cars
For those interested here are some runs from the G-tech of modified cars of assorted types vs. my Cobra. They are all good runs with zero Gs base line starts.
There's some room for improvement in my 60ft time in the Cobra as I'm running more air pressure in the rear drag radials than would be optimum. My testing was performed on a clear Scottsdale, AZ day of 1400 ft above sea level on a normal level roadway.
black - SPF 2040 Shelby Cobra, Roush 427R sb, 2 inch primary headers, SPF 2 inch internal side pipes, Pro Systems 1000 cfm carb, MT ET street drag radials 15 psi
red - 2002 Porsche 996tt 15 psi boost, modified computer
green - 1996 Eagle Talon, 21 psi boost, AWD, modified intake and exhaust
blue - 2003 Corvette Z06, cold air intake
