First Kill in the LS6 FD...09 BMW M3

I don't normally post these things but being the first one in my car I'll share...

I75 Southbound from High Springs. I get on the ramp and accelerate to 80 before merging...******* BMW decides not to let me merge so running out of lane I slow down. Whatever, I brush it off and just cruise in the right lane enjoying the ride home at 70 mph.

He gets into the middle lane and slows down pretty quick that I pass him about a car length then he hauls past me. I laugh and give him the thumbs up cause to be honest it pulled pretty good and was impressive. I guess he thought I was laughing at him cause he slows to match my speed and does the retarded rev a little past me then slow then rev a little past me then slow...

Now I'm a little pissed so I decide to bite on the next one...

I go from 6th gear to 4th and pull instantly and keep pulling him to 125. I think he gave up as he was pretty far behind me now. So I become the ******* and slow to his speed at 80 mph and do the retarded rev a little past him and slow down...

He gave me the finger and I laughed as he slowed down behind me.

Maybe he should have just taken the thumbs up and been on his way, huh?

Paid 60 grand, and he got schooled by a mid-nineties Mazda (or what LOOKED like one).

Don't get me wrong, I love the M3. I think its a beautiful car and wouldn't kick it out of my garage by any means. I can't say I've met many owners with M3's that I like. You comment on their cars and they kinda give you that "yeah, I know" attitude instead of being grateful for the comment.

Same goes for snobby corvette owners (N. FL Corvette Club most but not all of you). They'll talk alllllll day long about how great their cars are, they'll give you stats upon stats of its performance. Ask them if they've ever put it on the 1/4 mile or in an autocross or a PDX and they give you that "I know what my car can do" attitude.
I know what your car can do too...question is "What can YOU do with it?"

Anyway, thanks for the comments guys. I probably should have behaved better and possibly made a friend vs another hater. oh well...add them to the list...

Lol. Nothing against the cars, love the M5. In fact sometimes I think mercedes drivers are worse. Just today some woman in a white SLK rolled her stop and shop cart RIGHT INTO MY CAR. ( Not a scratch, thank god)
She then tried to explain to me why it wasn't her fault. LOL

LOL. Don't worry, I don't think that of all BMW owners. My good friend has an M5 that is awesome. I'd love to have a BMW for my daily vs a 1.4L protege.

The FD can't be the DD. I keep doing stuff to it so it sits in the garage. Installed my wheel about an hour ago. I should get new relays in on Monday.
