I love my RX7 but at no time do I think its better then anyone elses car. im sorry if you arent confident in yourselves enough to have a lil fun every once in a while in your SPORTS CAR.

anyway in no way should this be considered a kill or race. we tried to have a little fun with a rare exotic car and it turned out the guy was a dick and didnt wanna have fun THATS IT.
That's fine, some of us "old farts" enjoy a reasonably safe highway run ourselves....and who wouldn't want a run with a Ferrari? I know I enjoyed a 2am blast to over 150mph racing a Ferrari Testarossa one night...

It's the attitude displayed by the idiot who started this thread that bothered most of us....

I highly enjoy the opnions of most the people around here that if somebody doesn't want to race they are either a "stuck-up *****" or a "*****". Yep, thats it.

I posted that thread months after I joined, in May actually. I immediately went to the lounge and type that? okay. It was my first turbo car, i never heard a BOV and my life. So needless to say I was pretty excited. Your point?

Hey.. Quit making assumptions.. You were not there.. I was the fifth fd in line and spotted the car as the two took off then the all the sudden quit. When I pulled up next on the left and then everyone else the guy was a bit cautious. I don't blame him.. As for what Manny said I never witnessed the Ferrari get "boxed in. There was never an fd in front of him. Which would have made the actual harmless situation a bit dangerous. We all simply went ahead of him after that to get off at the next on coming exit. And as for all of the others that talk about he had more $$ than eveyone one of us put together I am glad I'm not in your shoes because if you want to sterotype as having alot of money=you must be better than the next guy and have a better life Blah blah blah... You better take a good look at how you were brought up and the values that are instilled w/ it.. If you were unfortunate not to I retract the statement, but I doubt thats the case... End of story.. I will go on record as saying this story from the begginning has been blown out of proportion too. Garret.

How do you rate someone or give feedback? I'd like to give myself a redmark or negative feedback for reading this stupid thread. Perhaps banging my head against the desk might leave a red mark or at least make me forget I read this.

people need to get over them selves for real. i was telling the story form my point of view (what i saw) and if you read what i posed i said he was boxed in with only one way to go... straight as in to run rey or garrett. im sorry if i used incorrect punctuation when i told my story, this is not school i just told the story straight up from my pov. stop being hypocrites because you know if you were rolling with 5-6 other fd's then you spot a ferrari... you would love to play with it as well. get over your selves for real..... rey and garrett sorry if i made you guys look bad ill take all the blame because well...... according to Umrswimr.... were just vin diesel wanna be's...... let them get over it and lets keep having our fun weather its a little extreme or its boring as ****. foir the haters... go ahead and give me some negative feedback too, ill appreciate it.

But....we are in a class of our own....especially in Orlando. We're in the class that's rarely seen on the road, compared to the Civic and Hatchback Family. Plus, whenever we see eachother on the road, we either, give a wave and keep going, or we do the rev-the-engine-HEY....and keep going. From what I've seen, we are uncommmon on the roads. though, there is this 1st gen in my neighborhood, that is just sick....in a bad way. He would step on the gas, and the bastard would just sputter. Overall....we are the uncommon-head turning-owners. That's the way I see it.

Edit: Wish I was there, though, but ya like to hold meets up in dang BFE. This just came to mind, ever thought about holding a meet at the Td Waterhouse?

^ we met over in downtown on the corner of 50 and Orange Ave. We pretty much meet every weekend over there, you should come out some time. I won't be in town this weekend, but next weekend I know I'll be out there with a couple more FDs. My boy from West Palm is coming up in his freshly painted MB FD next weekend.
