Thanks for all the great comments!
*I know many of you love to drive but have never been to a track, stop wasting time.
DRIVE a hpde (high performance driver education) event, it will change your perspective.
It is only about $300 for the day (110 mins of track time)
*Monticello Motor Club is not open to clubs in 2011, and it may not ever be open again to clubs... you can be a member for just $150,000.00 lol, or there are other tracks that have club days
*My avatar chic is from a porno I dont have anymore info on her for you.. sorry
I am sure if you look hard enough, you will be rewarded

great vid! FD's with some power and basic upgrades will trounce just about anything on the track.

Most people that drive exotics can't drive hard anyway. Fun to mess with them.

When a Porsche/Lambo/Ferrari transaxle costs $25-40K ....... I don't ever plan on owning one and really beating on it. If you want to know your mechanic on a 1st name basis.... buy one of these and then put lots of miles on it. There is a reason these cars are a few years old with only a handful of miles. They aren't reliable and their value goes in toilet when the miles are actually driven.

Nice driving, good job of 'racing the track, not the other driver', by the way.
Good to see the FD make a nice showing against a well-regarded sports car like the F430. If you think about it....that would make for a nice all-out race. The 430 has a 100 hp advantage but the torque would have been the same, at around 350 lb/ft...right? Weight very close, the 430 at 3000 lbs.

I'd still like to see the F430 in my garage, of course....lol!

How did you manage to get on a solo run group in only your second time ever being on a track?

I had to do 3 events with an instructor to get moved up to drive solo. And this was while being good friends with a couple of instructors and someone who ran the event, lol

Wow! I can't believe I missed this. That is my friends fathers 430, he sent me pix of a track day in which he was very impressed by a black FD. I always wondered if he would encounter anyone from the club.

For the record that Rarri is stick and on coils. It just got a re flash and race headers cat deletes as well as a miesershaft 1 off CB exhaust. I don't know how you would stack up now, rest assured I'd still be rooting for ya

I guess that's why I only saw pix and not a story hahaha, he would have never let me live it down if you'd of lost. I can't wait to show him this

Btw ~ Although I'm pretty sure that's his just to confirm it's a stick 430, on coils Gregorio titanium on Tan interior. His father was most likely driving (keep in mind he doesn't track that often, so track etiquette may not always be on his mind), my actual friend tracks a black slammed S5 and his friend who also tracks has a silver 09 GTR, I don't know if he went that day. The last one in the group who did mention the FD and tagged me fbook on your car labeled "Fast as **** FD".

Once my FD is up I will be going head to head with him, some HW pulls and of course a nice track day. It's good to see where I measure.

Small world for sure.

Hey "Driver"
Yep it was your friend's dad drivin the F430. I forget your friends name but he seemed cool. As noted, that was on orig springs and shocks, I plan to lower it 2 inches asap. I think that should allow me to keep the pressure on the Rarri,.. and then there is always high boost
Hope to see you out this season!

RX-7 may be able to blow the doors off that Ferrari F430, but the Ferrari F430 could blow the clothes off women way faster than the FD RX-7.

Anyone would trade there car for a F430, no doubt (its a question of $ vs $$$)... But thats not the point.
The point is you can beat by the guy with 10X the $, if you work on your skills.
The car is a tool. A hack w a precision tool can not beat a craftsman with a good tool.
This is true at the track as well as with the ladies.
FYI, my gf is way hotter than this guy's

Yes congratulations are in order but; the driver in Ferrari simply could not live up to the potential of his car. I know a few people that would destroy almost any modded 3rd gen in an F430. Well done, keep up the seat time/training, nothing beats it.

Hence why I like the MR2 Turbo, the Ferrari F430 copied the MR2 Turbo's engine/chassis layout when it was seen how awesome it performed in all those JGTC 300's.

fyi, Im no craftsman either.. Im just not as bad of a hack as the guy in the F430 lol
The Seven will hang much tighter w some more seat time, and maybe some shocks that arent 18 years old.

nice video. I enjoyed watching you ride that ferraris *** probably as much as you enjoyed your avatars *** get ridden. I wish I couldve seen the f430 drivers face the entire time and how much he checked his mirrors. lol. Did you talk to him after track run?

Im a former Ferrari mechanic, and worked at Ferrari North America in '07.

First, nice kill! I love FD's.. Probably more than any Ferrari even with my training and having been to the Ferrari Factory. The F430 isnt insane in a straight line, but with the proper person behind the wheel its an insane handling vehicle, trust me.

You definitely outdrove the gentleman in this video, which is always a great feeling and him being in a exotic car is just that much more satisfying.

Now, as for the whole Ferrari setting up cars especially to be tested and so on and so forth, I happened to inspect and drive the 599 GTB referred to earlier in this thread in '07 and can assure you, it wasnt hyped up. It had no special mods, nor was it the fastest stock 599 I had ever driven. Ferrari's are all quick, but some of them simply run better than others, part of which I blame on just better and worse engines and other characteristics of every car. As the car is all hand built (I did it myself), some just turn out better than others when they are finished. I have personally rode in multiple scuderia's and know the Ferrari tech the PDI's every one that came/comes into Atlanta. That being said, some are just faster than others, nothing special done to them, and some seem to handle better.

Now that I kinda got off on a tangent, I merely wanted to point out that just like normal vehicles, some Ferrari's are better than others... even stock for stock.

Good kill again, and I hope if you ever cross him on the track again you get the respect you deserve and get to pass him much sooner lol...

Nice drive ;-) makes me wonder how my fd will do against my mates clk black edition, you got the same problem we have here on the Ring, some off the porsche drivers won't let you bye.
And sadly what Chris Harris wrote is true, they do this because most of their customers can't drive and nothing's more worse than death customers :-p

If the woman is only accessible due to your car then she is a *****, plain and simple. If that's what you want then the money saved from driving an FD instead of an F430 will buy you many of them.

ALways fun to see a cheaper and more unique car go faster than some idiot who thinks money buys skills.
