So i was at a red light and this brand spanking new 08 Mustang GT turn onto my road and i guess he saw me and kinda revv his engine and took off. So i was like ok whatever, so light turns green i started driving normal doing speed limits 65mph. About 1/2 mile down i noticed i was getting closer and closer to the mustang i was like ok so i guess he was waiting for me to catch up. So i said hey get ready to video tape this i think he wants to race. So as soon i said that he "tap, tap" on his brakes to let me know that he was waiting i was like ohhh ok it's on. So i pulled up next to him, he's about in the early 20s and his girlfriend was in the car with him too and she's kinda "cute". Anyways i down shift knowing he wants to play and i can tell that he down shifted too. So about 65mph he gave me the "nod" and i did the same but i also gave him the signal to go first. So when he punch it i punch it after 3rd gear we were side by side and i was like oh he's done if he isn't pulling away. So as soon as i shift into 4th i reach out the sunroof and wave bye to him as i pulled away hard on him, by 130 i think i might have like couple bus length on him. Man it must be embarrassing for him trying to show off his car to his girlfriend hehe.

I have a BB turbonetics not sure exact size but it's like either a t67 or t70, its making 350whp@12.5psi low boost and 391whp@14.5 high boost

 

with that horsepower im suprised he kept up with you in third gear. Those GT's are only rated at 260 horsepower at the wheels and they weigh 1000 pounds more than the FD.

yeah actually he wouldn't be able to keep up in third but i did gave him the signal to go first that's why you see him pull slightly ahead in the video.
